The MMF has partnered with YouTube Music to launch the Accelerator Programme for Music Managers – the first ever independent funding and professional development initiative designed solely for artist, songwriter and producer managers.
APMM is aimed at managers based in England and Scotland who are in full or part-time employment, looking to make the leap into full-time music management. Artist, songwriter or producer managers who have a track record of proven income could be eligible for up to £15,000 in a bursary grant. We have partnered with fantastic organisations including the Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA), who have provided funding, plus Small Green Shoots, Urban Development, Generator and ILUVLIVE who will consult for the MMF on the project.
As a participant on APMM, managers will be able to take part in a year-long training programme with funded travel to attend free courses, meetings and mentorship. The courses have been designed by our education partners, CMU and MusicAlly and managers will also be funded to attend a music business conference. There will be additional, optional seminars provided by MMF associates and they will receive all the benefits of MMF membership. They will also be able to benefit from low-cost or free business services from our other project partners including SRLV, Music Business Insurance, Harbottle & Lewis, Simon Muirhead & Burton, Simkins and Sheridans.
FIRST STAGE APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN – DEADLINE 12PM WEDNESDAY 31ST OCTOBER
